Performing Arts
At Marlcliffe, we believe the Performing Arts are a vital part of helping our children shine. Through music, drama and dance, our children gain confidence, creativity and the freedom to express themselves in unique and inspiring ways. From taking part in Young Voices and our vibrant Musical Theatre Club, to learning instruments and joining in our joyful Singing Assemblies, there are countless opportunities for every child to find their voice and take to the stage.
We also believe it’s just as important for children to experience the magic of live performance. Our children enjoy opportunities to visit the theatre and orchestra, as well as to experience exciting performances right here in school from visiting theatre companies. These experiences inspire their appreciation for the arts and broaden their cultural horizons. We actively seek wider opportunities for the whole school community, such as taking part in Singing Festivals and Music in the Round, helping our children connect with the wider world of performance and creativity.
Performing Arts is an important part of our curriculum at Marlcliffe, enriching our children’s learning and nurturing skills that last a lifetime.
