Marlcliffe Reading Elves 2025

We are very pleased that we have been joined again by a family of Reading Elves for the Christmas period. These special visitors are here to encourage our Marlcliffe Learners to enjoy the magic of stories and the joy of reading together at home. Reading not only helps to build vocabulary and develop imagination but also strengthens listening skills, concentration and a love of learning that lasts a lifetime. Through stories, children can explore new worlds, meet exciting characters and experience the wonder that books can bring.

Each child will have the opportunity to have a sleepover with a Reading Elf to share one of our Christmas stories. We hope this special festive tradition creates cosy moments filled with warmth, laughter and imagination. There is something truly magical about reading together at Christmas time, when stories help to bring families closer and add an extra sparkle to the season.
