Welcome to Foundation Stage 2
In FS2 we have 2 classes
Blue Dragons

Summer 1
Our topics this term
Space
We will using non-fictions books to find out facts about the different planets in our solar system. We will look at how we can look after our own planet and the plants and animals in our environment
Our World
We will be comparing life in Sheffield and life in Kenya – We will discuss the similarities and differences in weather, foods, houses and plants.

Although Foundation Stage 2 do not add blogs on the website, Foundation Stage 2 Parents can access the fortnightly newsletters on Tapestry.

Reminders
Just a few reminders for the new term:

Please bring book bags to school every day

Bring some spare clothes just in-case, these can go in book bags

Bring a water bottle to school every day. (water only, we will refill this during the day if needed)

Please arrive promptly at drop off and pick up times

Check that names are on all items including book bags and water bottles

Please bring a pair of wellies that can stay at school
PE days
Blue Dragons (YRCW) - Wednesday and Thursday
Green Dragons (YRHA) - Monday and Thursday
Please ensure your child has a PE kit in school for these days. PE kit is; black/navy shorts, white t-shirt, pumps and jogging bottoms for outdoor PE.
Please check that your child's name is in their kit.
Children will be offered fresh fruit each day and are able to bring their own healthy snack in accordance with our healthy school policy.
