Marlcliffe Y6 blog
Our Y6 blog gives parents & children in Y6 messages, homework & writing journal tasks from the Y6 team.
Use it for checking homework tasks & for any last-minute messages. Don't forget to use our Links page to access some of the best interactive educational websites around and our Gallery page to see some of the work we've been producing.
You can reply via the comment box below. Let us know what you think; ask us what this week's homework is; ask for help with a task.
See the exclusive Y6 gallery to the right. This was what we got up to in France.

If you've forgotten your script for the Y6 end of year play, there's a copy you can download here (current @11 June - may be amended during rehearsals). We've also some of the music we'd like to use for the scenes available for you to listen to - we'll need to cut these down to about 90 to 120s and the selections might change as rehearsals go on: Scene 3, p8; Scene 5, p17; Scene 5, p19. There is more music & dancing in the play - this is just a selection. Continue reading ...

Hafsa's got to complete this story. Why don't you give it a go too. There might be prize for the best one... O there might not!
I was walking through Firth Park. I was bored as usual. My friends never want to go to Firth Park with me so I usually just sit down on a bench for a while. I just throw rocks in the lake and talk about my friends and how they never want to go to the park. I’m so bored!
I was on my way to my friends houses, Becky and Faisal. I felt lonely again and I wanted ... Continue reading ...

How to make scrumptious toast
This is how to make delicious toasted bread. Have you ever had beautifully tasty toast? Well, this is your chance to taste just that!
1. First, you get your bag of bread. You really need to get white bread for this because it tastes the best. Then open the bag.
